1. Donate Directly as a Business or Individual
Through our online donation page, donors can choose which Non-Profit Organization they would like to designate their funds to, or direct their gift to the Community Impact Fund.
About the Community Impact Fund: Committee of community members meet each year to review grant requests from non-profit organizations and utilizes the Community Impact Fund to direct resources to the projects with the greatest potential impact on our community.
2. Start an Employee Giving Program
Over 90% of the funds that we raise is collected through Employee Giving Programs at workplaces in Stanly and Montgomery County.
We are in great need of Corporate Partners each month of 2023 to start new Employee Giving Programs.
During your Employee Giving Campaign, United Way Volunteers visit your company to give short presentations, and Employees can choose to pledge monthly or one-time donations deducted from payroll. Small contributions add up to a huge impact for our community. Our largest Corporate Champion raised over $70,000 last year with pledges as small as $5 per month. 3. Become a Community Champion
Individuals, Businesses of all sizes, Community Groups, and Churches can become Community Champions for the United Way and our Partner Non-Profit Organizations in a variety of ways. 4. Direct your Impact
In 2023, 10 Non-Profit Organizations requested funding for a wide variety of projects that serve the most vulnerable members of our community. Read about their programs and projects here.
